Hairstylists book your spot on our book specifically for you to have your hair done ! That is your time! Your special spot for the service we are providing you. When you do a last minute cancellation (after 24 hours/1 hour before/ no show) you are shorting me of my income, my living and my time which is valued, as well as your own “feel good”time . My time is very valuable just as much as yours is as we approach our busy seasons the spot you cancelled/no showed etc could have been used for another person who would be a paying consumer. I can not explain how frustrating it is to have a client cancel 1 hour before their appointment or after the 24 hour mark. We can not fill your spot in that amount of time (mostly) so we are out $80+ for the day. We depend on our clients. We LOVE our clients. We BUILD relationships with our clients and some are even close enough to call family. This hurts us as stylists when you are canceling. I have had to put my foot down now and make my policy 🚨🚨 If you make an appointment their will be a CC information intake. If you fail to appear to your appointment or cancel within your 24 hour mark you WILL be charged 30% of the service that you missed. The reasoning being I cannot fill your spot within 24 hours or less. If you do not come in and their is no notice,you will get marked as a “no show” and have to pay a deposit further on to take you on as a client . I hate to do this y’all I really do, my clients know me and I really hate to be in this situation and do this but it’s getting ridiculous and I have to run my business. With this being said this policy is in affect starting today. If you guys have any questions or concerns please let me know.
